What is Arvaum Studio?

Arvaum Studio is a desktop AI imaging and video application built specifically for real estate professionals. It runs natively on macOS and Windows and connects to Arvaum Studio's cloud backend for AI generation. The app combines professional-grade prompt engineering with an intuitive interface designed around real estate photography workflows.

Built by Marcus Martinez, a professional real estate photographer with over 10 years of experience, Arvaum Studio understands the unique demands of real estate marketing — from virtual staging to decluttering occupied homes.

Installation & First Launch

macOS

1. Download the DMG installer from arvaum.io.
2. Open the DMG and drag Arvaum Studio into your Applications folder.
3. On first launch, right-click the app and select Open to bypass macOS Gatekeeper. You only need to do this once.
4. The app will open and present the login screen.

Windows

1. Download the Windows installer (.exe) from arvaum.io.
2. Run the installer — Arvaum Studio installs and opens automatically.
3. The app will present the login screen. The installer is digitally signed, so no security overrides are needed.

Creating Your Account

You have two options for creating an account:

Email + Password

1. Fill in your name, email address, and a password.
2. Accept the terms of service.
3. Click Create Account.
4. Check your inbox for a verification email (see below).

Google OAuth

1. Click Sign in with Google.
2. Select your Google account and authorize the app.
3. You're in — Google OAuth accounts are auto-verified.

Email Verification

Email verification is required for accounts created with email and password. After signing up:

1. Check your inbox for a verification email from support@arvaum.io.
2. Click the verification link in the email.
3. Return to the app and log in.

App Layout Overview

The Arvaum Studio interface has three main areas:

• Left sidebar — Generation history. Browse and revisit previous generations.
• Center workspace — The main work area containing the Custom Prompt field, Model Settings, and the Prompt Presets grid.
• Right side — Input Images (top) and Results (bottom). Upload source photos and view generated output.

The top navigation bar switches between Base mode, Virtual Staging & Cleanup mode, and the all-new Video tab (Beta).

Understanding the Interface — Base Mode

The center workspace in Base mode contains:

• Custom Prompt area — Text field at the top for writing your own prompt.
• Reference Images drop zone — Below the prompt area, for optional style-guiding images.
• Generate button — Kicks off AI generation.
• Model Settings — Choose model, resolution, and aspect ratio.
• Prompt Presets grid — Browse and select from 34+ professional presets.

Uploading Images

There are several ways to load images into Arvaum Studio:

• Drag & drop images onto the Input Images panel (top-right).
• Click the Upload button to browse your filesystem.
• Paste from clipboard with Cmd + V.
• Click the Clipboard button to paste clipboard contents.

Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WEBP. You can upload up to 20 images at once.

Choosing a Prompt Preset

Arvaum Studio ships with 40+ professional presets organized by category:

Using Custom Prompts

Type in the Custom Prompt text area at the top of the workspace. Your custom text combines with the selected preset for enhanced results. Leave it blank to use the preset as-is.

Enhance with AI

Click the Enhance button (top-right of the prompt area) to let AI improve and expand your prompt. The AI analyzes your uploaded image and writes a more specific, detailed prompt automatically.

Aspect Ratio

Match Input auto-detects your image's ratio. You can also choose manually: 21:9, 16:9, 5:4, 4:3, 3:2, 1:1, 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 9:16.

Model

The default model is Nano Banana Pro, optimized for real estate imagery.

Light Direction (Sun Dial)

In the Base tab you’ll find the Light Direction dial. Turn it on and drag the sun around the dial — like positions on a clock face — to steer where light enters the scene. Your choice is applied as an approximate window, giving the AI room to keep the lighting natural, and it works with any prompt built around directional light: exterior side-light looks like Golden Hour, or interiors with window light.

Directing light is a best attempt, not a guarantee on every image — some directions land more consistently than others, and every generation is a fresh take, so give a stubborn angle 2–3 runs. For exteriors, converting the photo to overcast first and then running a side-light prompt with your chosen direction is usually the most reliable path.

Generating Images

Click the Generate button to start. Each generation costs 1 credit regardless of resolution or output type.

Use the multiplier (1x – 4x) to generate multiple variations in a single run. Results appear in the Results panel at the bottom-right.

Working with Results

• Click any result thumbnail to view it at full size.
• Hit the favorite button to mark an image with a green color tag in your local Finder folder.
• All results are saved locally on your machine.
• Output filenames match the input filename plus a suffix describing what was done.

Reference Images

Drop reference images into the zone below the prompt area. These guide the AI toward a specific visual style, making results more consistent across multiple rooms or listings.

Multi-Lane Interface

Click Virtual Staging & Cleanup in the top nav bar to switch modes. This mode supports up to 6 concurrent lanes side by side, each fully independent with its own images, prompts, and settings.

• Add lanes with the + Add Lane button.
• Remove a lane with its X button.

Virtual Stage Workflow

1. Drop an image into a lane's upload area.
2. Click Virtual Stage.
3. Optionally write a custom prompt, or leave the default.
4. Set resolution, aspect ratio, and multiplier.
5. Click Generate.
6. Results appear at the bottom of the lane.

One-Click Tools: Auto Stage, Auto Restage & Smart Clean-up

Every lane in Virtual Staging & Cleanup has three one-click buttons. Each one studies your photo and does the work — no prompt required:

• Auto Stage — furnishes an empty room in a style that suits the space.
• Auto Restage — clears a furnished room and re-stages it in the interior style you choose.
• Smart Clean-up — removes clutter and personal items and tidies the room for listing, while keeping its furniture.

Want to steer a tool? Type a note in the lane first — for example “keep the piano” — and it’s folded into the run.

Each lane has independent controls for:

Batch Generation

Fill multiple lanes with different images and settings, then generate all at once. Each lane processes independently and displays its own results, letting you batch-process an entire listing in one go.

Editor Overview

The Editor button in the top-right corner opens a full photo-finishing workspace — no external software needed. Open any generated result, or drop in photos straight from your computer, and fine-tune them to delivery quality.

Edits are kept per photo: switch between images freely and each one remembers its in-progress adjustments (a pencil badge marks photos with unsaved edits). Saving always writes a new copy — your original file is never touched.

Editing Tools

• Adjust — exposure, contrast, saturation, warmth, vibrance, highlights, shadows, black & white points, and a full Curves tool — with unlimited undo and redo.
• Crop & Guided Straighten — crop to any framing, and fix crooked or keystoned shots by drawing two quick guides along lines that should be straight — the photo squares itself up.
• Layers — stack your original photo underneath an edited or generated copy, auto-align them, and erase to reveal — an easy way to bring back the exact house number, sign, or window view from the real photo.
• Retouch — draw property lines, drop pin markers, blur or pixelate license plates and faces, and erase unwanted objects with the content-aware Smart Remove brush.
• Zoom & Compare — zoom to 400% for detail work, pan around, and hold the Before button to check against the untouched photo at any time.

Presets, Watermarks & Export

Save your favorite looks as named presets and reuse them in one click — update a preset in place as your style evolves, apply one to many photos at once, or turn on Auto Preset to give every new generation your signature look automatically (with a one-click compare before you make it permanent).

When it's time to deliver, add an optional watermark (corner, font, size, and opacity are up to you) and use Export All to save a whole shoot in one go.

Video Tab Overview BETA

The Video tab turns your listing photos into short, cinematic video clips — perfect for reels, listing teasers, and social posts. Upload a photo, pick a camera movement, and Arvaum Studio generates a smooth, professional clip from it. No separate video software needed; results save locally just like photos.

Generating a Video

1. Switch to the Video tab in the top navigation bar.
2. Upload the listing photo you want to animate.
3. Pick a Video Prompt preset (camera movement) or write your own custom prompt — the Enhance button can polish your prompt using your reference image.
4. Optionally toggle a Video Effect (like a day-to-night timelapse) on top of your camera movement.
5. Choose an AI model and clip length, review the credit cost, and hit Generate.

Models, Presets & Effects

The Video tab offers a curated lineup of cutting-edge AI video models. Models marked ✨ Recommended deliver the best quality and prompt-following; the alternates are available when you want different looks or speeds.

• Camera Movement presets — professionally engineered moves (subtle push-ins, slides, reveals) designed to flatter real estate shots.
• Video Effects — toggleable modifiers layered on top of any camera movement, like accelerated day-to-night timelapses. One effect at a time.
• Custom prompts — describe the motion you want in plain English; the Enhance button refines it for video.

Results & History

Finished clips appear as result cards that preview on hover — click to open the full player. Your recent videos live in the left history rail, and every clip is saved locally to your chosen save folder, ready to deliver or post. Favorites work just like photos.

Built-in Professional Prompts

Arvaum Studio ships with 34+ presets created by @marcusandrewphotography, refined through thousands of real estate shoots. They are organized into Interior, Exterior, and Misc categories. Each preset includes preview images showing the expected style of results.

Creating Your Own Prompts

1. Click +New in the preset area.
2. Give it a name and write your prompt text.
3. Assign a category.
4. Your custom prompt appears alongside the built-in presets.

Attaching Reference Images to Prompts

When creating or editing a prompt, attach up to 5 reference images. These images are sent alongside your prompt during generation for more accurate, consistent results. This is especially useful for maintaining a specific design style across multiple rooms.

Favorites System

Star any preset to add it to the Favorites tab. This gives you quick access to your most-used prompts without scrolling or searching.

• Use the search bar to find prompts by name.

1 credit = 1 photo generation, regardless of resolution. Video generations cost more credits depending on the model and clip length — the exact cost is always shown before you generate. Subscription credits refresh monthly. Credit pack credits never expire.

Where Files Are Saved

All generated images save locally to your machine. Your files are never dependent on cloud storage. Arvaum Studio processes in the cloud but downloads results directly to your computer.

File Naming Convention

Output files use the original input filename plus a suffix describing what was done (e.g., the generation type). This makes it easy to match inputs to outputs when delivering to clients.

Folder Marking

(macOS only) When you favorite an image in the app, it receives a green color tag in macOS Finder. This lets you quickly identify your best picks when browsing your output folder.

Clearing Results

Clear results from the panel using the trash icon. This removes them from the app view but does not delete your local files.

• Use high-quality input images for the best results.
• 4K output is recommended for MLS submissions.

• Use reference images for consistent style across multiple rooms in a listing.
• The multiplier generates variations — use 2x minimum so you can pick the best result.
• Credit packs never expire, so stock up during slow season.

Troubleshooting

Generation Failed

• Check your internet connection.
• Verify you have credits remaining on the portal dashboard.
• Try re-uploading the image in a different format (e.g., JPEG instead of PNG).
• If the issue persists, contact support via the in-app chat.

Login Issues

• Verify your email address is correct.
• Check that your email has been verified (look for the verification badge on the portal).
• Try Google OAuth if email + password login fails.
• Clear the app cache and try again.

Email Verification Problems

• Check your spam/junk folder for email from support@arvaum.io.
• Click Resend Verification on the login page.

• You've exceeded your tier's device limit.
